About Excel to PDF
A workbook is designed for calculation and editing; a PDF is designed for consistent viewing and distribution. Choosify renders the workbook into a PDF while leaving the original file on your device unchanged.
Why use this tool
- Share workbook content with people who do not use Excel.
- Create a print-oriented document from spreadsheet material.
- Keep the editable workbook separate from the distributed PDF.
Privacy and security
The selected workbook is sent by your browser directly to the Choosify document API for processing. It is not uploaded to WordPress, placed in the Media Library, or saved in WordPress posts. API processing is temporary and follows the backend’s configured behavior.
Frequently asked questions
Which workbook formats are supported?
You can upload .xls and .xlsx files up to 25 MiB.
Does the conversion include the whole workbook?
The backend renders the uploaded workbook rather than requesting one named worksheet. Review the result to confirm how its sheets were paginated.
Why might a wide spreadsheet span several PDF pages?
Spreadsheet dimensions and workbook layout affect rendering. Adjust the workbook’s page or print layout before conversion when a specific result matters.
Can I edit the generated PDF as a spreadsheet?
No. The PDF is rendered for viewing or printing; edit the original workbook and convert it again.
